25 ANOS DA ARAM (25 YEARS OF ARAM)

RULES
During October of 2017, the Associação de Radioamadores do Alto Minho (ARAM) celebrates its 25th
anniversary. To commemorate this ephemeris, ARAM launches a special Award to all radioamateurs
of the world, and SWL.
To obtain the Diploma, you must collect the characters necessary to complete the award title:
25 ANOS DA ARAM
Thus, there are nine different characters to get: 2,
5, A, D, M, N, O, R, e S.
All contacts on any of the following bands will be validated, between your station and any of
the ARAM's members stations listed below (from now on, refered as "ARAM Station").
Each ARAM Station will operate using its own callsign and offering one and only one character per day.
ARAM Stations may operate on different bands during a day, but can only offer one and the same character
on that same day.
DATES: from October 1st, 2017 (0000Z) to October 31st, 2017 (2400Z)
BANDS: 160, 80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 e 10 meters.
VALID ARAM STATIONS: CS5ARAM, CT1DMC, CT1FXE, CT1EDA, CT1HIX, CT2GSN, CT2HKN, CT2IQK and CT7AFR.
JOKER STATION: Besides the ARAM Stations, ocasionally, the club's station will be on the air
with its own callsign (CS5ARAM). Each contestant can contact this special station and ask for one missing character, only once per band.
Durgin the QSO, the JOKER Station will deliver the requested character to the other part.
GENERAL CALL: Each ARAM Station is encouraged to make its calls in either portuguese or english like: "CQ
CQ CQ DIPLOMA 25 ANOS DA ARAM, CHARACTER , BY , QRZ?".
For example: sation CT7AFR offering character A, will call: "CQ CQ CQ DIPLOMA 25
ANOS DA ARAM, CHARACTER A, BY CT7AFR, QRZ?".
LOGs: Contesting stations don't need to send any LOG. The LOG is made by each ARAM station and uploaded to our server,
every day and available at ARAM's website, on a dedicated award webpage.
On this page, every contestant station can look for its Log and see which characters are missing.
SWL stations must send a LOG to the address concurso@aram.pt. The LOG must make reference to the delivered character.
AWARDS: The diplomas will be awarded in four different categories, as a function of the number of contacted ARAM Stations.
- Diploma de Madeira: (Wood) Delivered to any station that have collected all characters of the expression "25 ANOS DA ARAM",
in mixed bands.
- Diploma de Bronze: (Bronze) Delivered to any station that have at least 6 QSOs with different ARAM stations, on any band.
- Diploma de Prata: (Silver) Delivered to any station that have collected all characters of the expression "25 ANOS DA ARAM",
in a minimum of one band.
- Diploma de Ouro: (Gold) Delivered to any station that have collected all characters of the expression "25 ANOS DA ARAM",
in a minimum of four bands.
- Diploma de Platina: (Platinum) Delivered to any station that have collected all characters of the expression "25 ANOS DA ARAM",
in a minimum of six bands.
All diplomas will have indication of the contesting station, as well as its position in the general ranking of valid QSOs, by DXCC entity.
The contesting station that reach the minimums to obtain a Diploma, will be able to download it, in PDF format, on the Awards webpage,
on November 15th, 2017.
If some contestant wishes to receive its diploma in a high quality paper, he can place an order, via e-mail, for a fee of
